One thing i have realized here is that my longings are so much greater than i ever realized. A crystal clear beach dotted with thatched hutts. Rythmic, hypnotic waves hitting the sandy beaches, playing the shores like a giant harp, don"t get me wrong has been great, and needed, but i have discovered here that it is not nearly enough. i mean it isn"t even in the ballpark.

What my heart needs to live is much more profound than a beach and waves.... something much deeper than spending myself chasing an idea or even ideals....i long for reality. I desparately need encounters with transcendance to live.....really it is a lie that we don"t need that..i mean i need it like air man. We don"t live on bread alone but the breath of God, the breath that filled adams" lungs upon creation. We need to enter and dwell in that uncreated zoe so we can breath again. How? Through the new adam, the One born both of God and man, the trancendantly intimate bridge. This act in space and time was a manifestation of His heart---reaching to us, bridging the gap, speaking our language, giving us beautiful paradoxes, radical but followable, difficult but not impossible....and to find Him in it, it is beyond words and more profound than beaches and waves.

Coming here was like the realization of a dream i had, and what i have discovered is that what i really want to do is live out Gods dreams. What a revelation and turning point for me.

Eccl 3:ll--> He has set eternity on the hearts of men....

i feel like He has driven it into my being with a big round stake....

Without getting to fiesty (sp?) i guess i am speaking to the great american vision. As seen on the corona commercials. dejame hablar.... all men are like grass and all their glory like the flowers in the field, that grass withers and the flower falls but......the transcendant, glourious, filled with beauty, filled with power, justice, and love...the uncreated prime mover stands--and He is jealous for our hearts. And causes us to hunger and thirst for bread from heavon. And to call out for it and be filled.

Why were they weary and burdened?
Because of religious systems that obscured the knowledge of what you're really like....In one of the only (if not the only) place you describe your own character you say that you are gentle and humble at heart. And you invite those worn out by religion to come.
